Members of Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute Participate in IMI International Conference in Karbala
The 12th International Conference of Imamia Medics International (IMI) was held in person from 25 to 28 December 2025 in Karbala, Iraq, bringing toge healthca professionals, researchers, policymakers, and scholars from across the world.

Members of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute actively participated in the congress, contributing to scientific discussions and academic exchange throughout the program.
The conference featured parallel sessions dedicated to women’s and youth engagement, pharmaceutical and dental sciences, as well as health technology, highlighting interdisciplinary collaboration in modern medicine.
A delegation from Tehran University of Medical Sciences was also in attendance, including Dr. Reza Raeis-Karami, Chancellor of the university; Dr. Bagher Larijani, Head of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute; and Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Nasehi, Head of Iran Health Insurance Organization. They were joined by a number of distinguished experts in medicine and artificial intelligence who took part in the event’s scholarly and professional activities.
In addition to its scientific sessions, the conference welcomed participants from civil society organizations, government institutions, and health policy bodies, fostering dialogue on global healthcare challenges and solutions.
