Tehran University of Medical Sciences Delegation Visits Al-Sabtain University in Iraq

During the meeting, both sides introduced the capacities and potential of their respective institutions, with particular emphasis on the research capabilities of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute.

The discussions focused on future avenues of cooperation, including academic collaboration and joint research activities.

Dr. Rais-Karimi described the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute as one of the largest research centers in the country in the field of non-communicable diseases, noting that its faculty members hold a prominent position at both national and international levels.

As part of the program, the delegation visited various departments of Al-Sabtain University, which serves as the international branch of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

The visit concluded with both sides expressing interest in strengthening cooperation and expanding academic engagement.
